Bored Hockey Fan Fantasy League – Week Five

Week Five is done and dusted and in this shortened season, points are more precious. The results for Week Five were as follows:

An even contest all round as Hamilton Tigers and It’s The Flying V! shared the spoils in a 5-5-3 tie.

Legs’ players may have spent 36 minutes in the penalty box, but it helped earn a 9-2-2 victory over FistCity CaPs.

@GoftheInternet lacked offense as the Quebec Nordiques ran over the top by a margin of 8-3-2.

St. Mucus Ooze failed the meet the min. 3 goalie starts required, which means no goalie points were earned,  which helped GreatNessPerSonified to a 7-3-3 win.

DarkSideOfTheMoen enjoyed the biggest win of the week, crushing Powers Rangers by a score of 10-3-0.

We are now over a quarter of the way through the season. Let’s see the results of the Week Four matchups.

Seven points from John Tavares and five from Matt Duchene, helped the Quebec Nordiques defeat the FistCity CaPs by a score of 8-2-3.

It was Goaltending that helped @GoftheInternet earn a 8-4-1 victory over GreatNessPerSonified.

Legs was victorious 9-3-2 over the Hamilton Tigers, thanks to ten points from the Powerplay.

DarkSideOfTheMoen was never in the hunt, as It’s The Flying V! demolished them 11-0-2.

St. Mucus Ooze earned the tightest victory of the week, scraping by Powers Rangers 6-5-2.

Week Three is now wrapped up. Let’s look at the results for all the Week Three matchups:

It’s The Flying V! dominated the St. Mucus Ooze in pretty much every category to end up 11-1-1 winners.

GreatNessPerSonified’s goaltenders averaged less than 2 goals a game in their 7-5-1 victory over the FistCity CaPs.

Despite the form of San Jose Sharks’ Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski, DarkSideOfTheMoen managed an 8-3-2 victory over the Hamilton Tigers.

In the closest matchup of the Gameweek, Powers Rangers squeezed out 5-4-4 victors over @GoftheInternet.

7 points from Patrik Elias helped Legs to an 8-4-1 triumph over the Quebec Nordiques.

Week two is now in the books. Here is a brief summary of all the week’s matchups..

Ten points from Thomas Vanek was enough to give Legs a 9-4-0 victory over DarkSideOfTheMoen.

Even though he was outscored points-wise, @GoftheInternet still had enough to defeat It’s The Flying V! by a score of 8-5-0.

4 goals in the Gameweek by Steven Stamkos, was not enough to give St. Mucus Ooze the win over Hamilton Tigers, as it ended in a 5-5-3 tie.

A dominating performance offensively saw the FistCity CaPs earn a 7-4-2 victory over Powers Rangers.

The Quebec Nordiques had the biggest winning margin of the week, smashing GreatNessPerSonified 10-2-1.

Thanks to the combined 36 points scored by San Jose trio Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski. DarkSideOfTheMoen defeated St. Mucus Ooze by a total of 8-3-2.
Even though @GoftheInternet was beaten in points by Hamilton Tigers, @GoftheInternet still managed a 9-2-2 victory thanks to Goalies Craig Anderson, Tuukka Rask and Jaroslav Halak.
It’s The Flying V! only lost in PIM in their 11-1-1 demolition of FistCity CaPs.
Powers Rangers got 25 points from the Powerplay in an 8-4-1 victory over the Quebec Nordiques.
Legs got a massive 102 PIM in an 8-3-3 defeat of GreatNessPerSonified.
